Emerald Gardens Non-profit with Miranda Smith

Emerald Gardens Nonprofit is an 18-acre garden and grounds near Lake Taylorville. Miranda Smith, founder and manager, will present on the various programs and resources that the Gardens offer to the surrounding communities. Her mission is to create a place where people can join forces to make a difference in a multitude of ways. Miranda has over 10 years experience teaching horticulture and volunteering with nonprofits. With the help of networking and resource building, she has big plans for the future of Emerald Garden, including a free vegetable garden, a ‘Memory Gardens Orchard,’ and a special garden area for kids.
