Children's Area

The Cat in the Hat?  A herd of dinosaurs?  Magic castles and giant caterpillars?  You just never know what you'll find in our Children's Section!  From picture books to graphic novels, and non-fiction books galore! We have all the newest, coolest books for a variety of ages. Audiobooks, DVDs, and science kits are also waiting to be checked out! We have a craft table with ever-changing craft supplies, puzzles, games, magnetic blocks for all to play with when they visit the library.
The beautiful mural on our small stage is painted by local artist, Nan Steinmeyer.  It tells the tale of her puppy's adventures after he falls into a magic rabbit hole.  There are comfy chairs, squishy pillows, and a wonderful play tent to make this a great area to enjoy a story or read a book
Whether you are looking for materials for school or just for fun, the librarians will be happy to help you find what you need!
