Children's Area

The Cat in the Hat?  A herd of dinosaurs?  Magic castles and giant caterpillars?  You just never know what you'll find in our Children's Section!  We have over 11,000 items! These include fiction and non-fiction books for a variety of ages; puzzles, games, a keyboard, audio-books, videos, DVD's, puppets, and reference materials.  We also have a gaming computer for children 10 and under.
The beautiful mural in our amphitheater is painted by local artist, Nan Steinmeyer.  It tells the tale of her puppy's adventures after he falls into a magic rabbit hole.  There are comfy chairs, and squishy pillows to make this a great area to enjoy a story or read a book
Whether you are looking for materials for school or just for fun, the librarians will be happy to help you find what you need.!

Teens' Area

We have over 700 items selected especially for our young adult section of the library.  These include fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, audio-books, and DVD's.

We are happy to assist in looking for materials needed to fulfill school assignments such as recently released biographies, poetry, and classic fiction titles.
